No, Loving Yourself Is Not Selfish.

It is so strange na that we try to learn each and everything. Even our teachers, parents try to give us so much knowledge so that we can be independent but are we really independent?

Because for love we always depend on other. We depend on other to love us, to pamper us, to make us happy. Why can’t we love our own self? Why can’t we enjoy our own company? I think not depending on other for love will be being truly independent.

Teaching your child to love their own self is also very important.

And no, Loving our own self doesn’t mean being selfish. When you love your own self then only you will be able to love other truly and unselfishly. That will be true love because then you will not expect anything from other and it will not hurt you. Because as we all know expectations hurt.

We are very busy thinking what other people will think about us, Why can’t we invest that same time and energy for our own self instead of trying to impress other.

Focusing more on us will help us grow and also will keep us out of stress. Let’s just not think about people because people will talk even if you do your best so just ignore.
